LIP Potection In The Sun.

I have tried all kinds of lip protection, but I still get blisters on my lips if I am in the sun. Can anyone recommend a lip block - that is not too obvious - as nobody wants to say the shade.

I`ve got the Banana Boat sunblock one for the sun. I think you can buy Banana Boat stuff in the UK. The regular lipscreens such as Lypsyl and Chap Stick contrain sunscreen but not in a strong concentration. I went sailing in this country using just the Lypsil that I use all the time and my lips got so burnt they swelled up to twice their size and I had to go sick from work. That`s when I found out about the minimal sunscreen in them. If you can`t get Banana Boat any sunscreen make such as Piz Buin would do it.

Not sure that sunblock actually prevents the herpes blisters that occur from being in sun. Same as cold sores. I actually get them all around the mouth area in the summer. Wearing a hat and artificial tan is probably the best option.
