It is often oh so easy for our written words to be interpreted wrongly Anne, am sure all is well.
I recently got off on the wrong foot, I called someone 'dear' and was told I was being condescending, we sorted it out though.

anne, weas didn't come back, although I thought my answer tried to explain the position from the NHS side. One can only do one's best on AB.

I wouldnt worry about this anne. I have just read that thread and she was the one being rude (although of course this may have been like you said under stress). I dont think you have any reason to apologise at all.
