Question Author
Sorry Den, nighty nite to you too xx
Hi ttfn I'm good, going on holiday tomorrow in MH with OH, towards Dorset and Devon for 7 days. I'm quite looking forward to it. You've been missing for a while is everything ok?
Question Author
Just getting rid of a chest infection, thanks. Wave as you go through Dorset - I am on the coast! Looks like you will have mostly sunny days - hope you do.
Have a great time Elsie ♥
Willwave as we go through, always wanted tio live by the coast but sadly family live in #forest of #dean so that is where we are. Still fantasize about water in spite of our house being flooded twice in 7 years by washer valve fault and house totally wrecked twice!!

Oh dear, bad luck, Elsie. I live in the lowest part of my road and there are 4 hills around me. We had terrible rain one day and I opened the front door to look out and see if the road was flooding. It was - right into my hall. I will never do that again.
we were flooded right through the ground floor, watwer had been seeping into the foundations for weeks, eventually came up but underlay masked it for ages, making it spread throughout, took about 8 weeks to dry out and work done. Good thing was decorated throughout, new carpets, all downstairs, hall landing and stairs, bits of kitchen renewed. This all happened twice and insurance paid up each time, absolutely brillaint, but could not live thro it again, umpteen blowers and dryers going for weeks on end, bare concrette floors no way!!

My heart always goes out to flood victims in the news - home or abroad. A terrible thing to go through when the home you have worked hard for is so devestated. Just be careful how OH drives through any fords ;o)
