Kinda used first aid for the first time

A couple of weeks ago at oliver someone tripped over but a first aider was already seeing to them.

Today dun dun dun, I gave someone a plaster! i was walking home and there was a little girl who'd fallen off her scooter and was in floods of tears cos her knee was bleeding, so I wiped it and after checking she wasn't allergic to plasters, stuck one on.

Ok I know i didn't have to be a first aider to do that, but i still had my kit that they gave us when we did our training which includes gloves, bandages, plasters and wipes and I'd left it in my bag from the last time I took it with me when we went to Norwich.

The little girl was maybe 5 or 6, I asked her mum who was with her . . .

Someone on "Planet Jobsworth" could construe this as common assault. Lets hope there are none about who want to make a name for themselves. You did well and one hopes that most of us would do the same.

It was only an anti-septic wipe and a plaster mamy, their life wasn't in danger . . .

Be prepared , I always have a sewing kit in my handbag but these days someone else has to thread the needle.
