...with new shoes rubbing or is it just me? As far as I can remember every single pair of shoes I have ever bought have rubbed and blistered my feet. This is why I mostly live in boots.

never because I live in trainers
Mostly. Annoying isn't it?
I have that problem frequently trigger. I always have to carry around plasters when I bed in new shoes (I don't mean I sleep in them - I mean I have to 'wear them in').

I prefer sandals, flip flops and boots for this same reason.
nice tasteful ones mind you, some look smart like work shoes but most are like the climbing hiking outdoor type, no nike 'things', no white trainers except for running
I've only ever heard this happening to women...
Sandals boots, flipflops or best of all clogs for me usually.
BuIIshit! snags
can here lofty coming in those clogs :)
and that was double little ii's ;o)
'hear'
You can't buIIshit a buIIshitter...
I love clogs, but not the ones with wooden soles!!
no ,but I am fortunate to be able to afford good quality ,if you can it is always best to buy leather and make sure that they are actually big enough,if they are a bit tight in the morning you will never "wear them in " it doesn,t work, just buy a bigger size
snags: women buy shoes for looks, style, fashion etc - sod the comfort.
What's even more annoying is when an extremely comfortable pair of shoes suddenly and for no reason start to rub
compede! works wonders!
tigger......... you live in boots, have you asked the council to rehome you ?

Very annoying Ummmm! I use those Compeed blister plasters now for the first week or so until the shoe moulds round my feet. Glad they were invented as normal plasters are poop.
Question Author
I use to use plasters Salla but they just rubbed off.
I live in crocs, have wellys, hiking boots, hiking trainers and one pair of posh boots. None of them rub...I find I need to buy some dressy shoes though so in the pst, here would have come foot hell....actually not now,I am getting choosier in my old age and less pain tolerant
