I think you mean Champix. My oh had this a few years ago and he said it was brilliant, he never craved a cigarette whilst taking it, it did cause sleep problems for him though and he had to stop taking it.

Mr mac used it, hated the side effects, but it did the trick. I used it, hated the side effects, still smoke. :)

I've not tried it but I found I had all those symptoms - sickness, disturbed sleep, bad dreams, BAD mood swings - using just patches. They only lasted more seriously for the first week. 4 weeks on now and get the odd craving but no desire to quit quitting. :o)

Thank you all for your replies my hubby is going to the drs this afternoon with an appt to discuss going on this...willl have to wait and see how he gets on then sounds very individual as to how the side effects are with every individual...x
