Schools ought to teach good quality sex educaiton just as parents need to have informative non judgemental talks with their kids, sadly niether happens very often, and the ' heat of the moment' often takes over with devastating repercussions for the young people concerned. Add to that the difficulty in getting a job/ continuing with education once you have a small child, you then have a situaiton where there are lots of girls with babies living on benefits, which then normalises that and makes it more and more something which is not looked at as unusual by their peers. This is not a rant at young mothers in any way, my ex had her first chiold at 17 and always worked very hard to support him and get herself through university, but it's a horrible uphill struggle and one which a lot of people can't win, so yes the more sex educaiton for kids the better, and it is lacking.

Why do we even need Sex Education at all?
We've managed perfectly fine for thousands of years without being "tought" it, in fact some might argue we were better off without it (being tought, not sex, though now you mention it...) , certainly didn't seem to have as many children having children anyway.
