MM and KM Links April 2011 [Week 5]
7 Answers
“The Count” (aka middlestump) has kept us royally entertained throughout the last five weeks. Today’s weather has been much cooler at the Croft, but I still managed to do a stint in the garden (after the TV coverage of the Royal Wedding). I can relax now and let “The Count” do his thing. He should launch his final MM Links Game on AB at 08.45am and his four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. Everyone is invited to participate and early MM hits gain bonus points!
The ever-popular, international version of this same game is KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour. Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz (Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz.

Next week, the slates are wiped clean and brand new games are launched for the month of May. As far as MM Links is concerned, a new setter is nominated to succeed “The Count” and the only skill that the successor needs is “Cut & Paste”. If necessary, this skill is developed and put in place with help from “yours truly”.
However, as I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards (more or less accurately) to trace progress through each monthly contest.
Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!
