My gran in a bad place?

Don't really know what to do. A friend of a friend swears blind she saw my gran coming out of the local gum clinic. I thought she was joking but she described her to a tea and told me what she was wearing and what her car was like parked outside.

My gran is a single and i don't think she is with anyone. Well, she hasn't said so. I am so shocked if she was in there and disgusted to be honest.

I really don't think it was a lie. So what should i do?
a) tell my gran my friend saw her in there?
b) don't say anything cause it's none of my business?
c) tell my mother?
d) ring the gum clinic pretending to be my gran and ask if my results are back?

My friend's friend has no reason to lie, thanks.

There are other clinics within the GUM clinic sometimes......for example in my area the Menopause clinic is held in the 'sexual health' department.
Your gran may well have been there entirely innocently.

But it really is none of your business why she was there. If she wants you to know, she'll tell you.

Could it be she was lost? How could she park outside any hospital clinic? That's ridiculous, she would have had to park on a car park. How do you know everything your Gran wears? How come a 'friend of a friend' knows your gran and who gave you the description? the friend? or the friend of a friend who is supposed to have seen her? Quite frankly the whole thing sounds rubbish,

Dollypins- reverse the situation- would you like your grand daughter (when you have one) interfering in your intimate life? Your Gran is entitled to her privacy, and also entitled not to expect you to be ' disgusted' at her because she's gone to a medical clinic, and as some of the ladies have said it needn't necessarily even be for a sexually transmitted disease, gum clinics and their allied clinics deal with all sorts of things. Please afford her some respect and mind your own business.

GUM stands for Genito-Urinany Medicine, and since many older ladies have problems with their waterworks isn't it perfectly feasible that she was there for that? Even if it's not - do you really want to know all about your granny's sex life? Leave it be, she's a grown woman!
