I know candidia feeds on sugar in the body and will thrive the more sugar/carbohydrates you eat. However, does it also consume Splenda and other artificial sweetners? Just wondering.

No because they are just chemicals although Splenda is sucralose which is a sugar derivative. I`m not sure how much sugar is left in it by the time it`s been processed though.
agree 237 - not that much as isnt it hydrolised out of the main sucrose C6 molecule
If you really want to rid yourself of any desire for sweet tastes,you might be better off weaning yourself off both real and artificial sweetners.

Yes you are right. Artificial sweetners may not have calories but they have the same effect on your body as sugar does. Or possibly a worse effect.
