Itchy nose

I have an itch at the side of my nose near my eye. The place it itches is sort of where if you stick your fingertip in the corner of your eye like to get crap out your eye, its just to the side of that on my nose. Its just a small area that is itching, It comes and goes and is really itchy and annoying. Ive never seen anything there, not even dry skin. I haven't used any new products on my face or to wash clothes or sprays or anything like that so I'm unsure its an allergy. It's been like it a couple of days now. Any idea what could be causing this?

I did, there was a goose at the door distracted me, they are awaiting goslings and get very greedy around this time of year.

hi boxy, thanks for suggestion, it does itch kind of like a midgy bite would but I can never see anything there when it happens.

You could try After Bite but it's dodgy to put it so near your eye!

I've not heard of it boxy but if its dodgy near eyes I'll give it a miss. Thanks for the tip though, it would come in handy for being bitten other places :-)

There's a class of worm that can be picked up from dog dirt. It matures in the body and then when it has matured it makes its way to the eye to exit the hosts body.
Could you have accidentally been in contact with dog dirt?

I googled yesterday ummmm it takes 6 to 8 weeks I think lol

I don't think I've been in contact with dog poo sandy, but its on the side of my nose near my eye rather than in my eye, thanks for suggestion though.
