hi everyone, i bought a pair of shoes with embellishments on them from next on the 13th of april for a wedding costing me £45. I wore them for the second time last night for a meal out with the girls and when i got home i noticed that 3 of the stones have come off the front of 1 shoe and 2 stones off the other are loose. The receipt say's that they will refund or exchange items 28 days after purchase but doesn't say anything about after this date. Before i take them back i would like to know where i stand on this matter. Surely after wearing a pair of shoes twice this shouldn't happen? and im not happy at all. There's no way i could wear them again as these are big stones and are in the front, they look awful now. Am i entitled to exchange?

One would reasonably expect to get more than two wears from a pair of shoes, so you should take them back and ask for a refund.
Within the first 6 months of purchase the burden is on the seller to prove there is no inherent fault. After 6 months the buyer has to prove there is an inherent fault, so you have nothing to prove.
