go to the doctor......get yourself checked... !!!

To me, it sounds circulatory...as if the oxygen is not going thru your system fast enough, as your heart rate rises. This happens to me when I over exert during exercise, my heart rate will spike and usually my feet will go numb.... but that is ME.... Yours sounds a little more serious - maybe have a fitness test with your GP present so that he/she can see what happens....either way please see your doctor!!

Best wishes to you!

Definatley go to the doctor now.  In the most serious of cases it could be a stroke or a form of epilepsy.

If you experience headache, dizziness and confusion with your speech when you get the numbness then this is very serious

make an appointment today to make sure

As above - go to the doctor! however, if you don't get any joy with them - you might concider going to a chiropractor as it is a possibility that you are trapping a nerve either through back or pelvis problems.

Sounds like the movement of walking up the stairs is trapping one of your nerves (running also uses same action)  Only stretching and yoga and physio will help.
