Just want to say Happy Fathers Day to my long deceased Dad, who died just before I was born -thanks for looking over me on day of my emergency transplant,which was your birthday anniversery

I have been thinking about my Dad this morning he died in 2002.......it is so very very sad you did not get the chance to meet yours.

I've been thinking about my dad too, he died in 1988 - he would have been 101 by now.

Thinking of my lovely dad too bagpuss, he passed away on my birthday in 1994 bless him, while I was reading all my birthday cards. A phone call shattered that happy moment .

Thoughts are with you bagpuss, I no longer have my Dad, but rang father-in-law this morning to wish him Happy Fathers Day, he is 93, and hope we have him for a long time yet.

It's lovely to read someone else sending a message to their dad who is no longer with us.

Mine died in '86, months after he'd helped me pass 8 O levels - what a wonderful dad you were, love you always Dad x
