even if you are not that senior, when you see someone you have known for years, and can't put the name to the face. No matter how you rack your brain. I had one of those moments yesterday, but it was seeing a photo of two famous sportsmen, and only one i remembered the next day.

Oh yes really silly things as well. Put a hot wash on last night and forgot to get the towel out of the downstairs loo and the tea towel. Somethinhg I do every time and should just be routine.

Oh yes! I'm 41 and have these all the time! Have done for years!

Go out in the car, get to the top of the road and forget completely where I was going,

forget my keys,

go out shopping with no money or cards, or write a shopping list and leave it at home

call someone's name to get their attention and then promptly forget why I wanted them in the first place,

go up two flights of stairs and when I get there, can't remember why...my kids think I'm a loon lol :-)
haha i even wrote my name down wrong on a works time sheet haha, to my defense it was after 4 night shifts ;) haha x
I know that I clicked on this thread for some reason or other, but I can't seem to remember why ;-)
yesterday I poured cold water on my tea bag-duh!!
Someone summed it up on AB a little while back...

Firstly. you start to forget peoples names,
Then you start to forget peoples faces,
Next, you forget to pull your zip up,
Then you forget to pull your zip down !!

i once got on a bus, and didn't look properly at the number, because there are several of these bendy bus type routes, and ended up miles from my destination, i didn't even clock where we were going, just sat there musing on the day.
Short term memory loss is believed to be associated with not sleeping well, when your brain sorts itself out.
Frequently - it's embarrassing and yes passwords are a nightmare
Hi em,
laughing at all these! Today I phoned my boss on the internal phone & he said ... put the phone down, I'll phone you back on the internal phone ... so I did ????? Of course I was laughing when he rang back!!! ;0)
Yes - all the time. I reckon it's partly because we all have so much to remember these days! I really don't like it when someone obviously knows well who I am, I recognise their face but I haven't got a clue who they are.
em10 - I don't have senior moments - I have senior days!
