latex allergy

Can anyone offer advice on what I can do? i have an i pod that I use every day but unfortunately I appear to be allergic to latex.I am developing a nasty itchy rash on each side of my neck and also very itchy ears.Are there any non latex in ear phones out there that I could buy,I have googled but could not find anything.Does anyone have any tips which will enable me to keep on using my existing ear phones comfortably.Thank you in advance

Isn`t latex a soft material? Would it be the lead which contains latex rather than the rigid ear bit? Bose do headphones with silicone ear buds.
