especially if you want to diet, i am finding that though i know most of the things that are supposed to be good for you, there are some that aren't, say if you are allergic, but don't know it. Its confusing, as i am trying to cut down, with the help from a nutritionist, but does anyone else find the same.
Always make me laugh when you see a person come out of a burger joint, armed with burger, fries, and a diet coke.
Sorry can't help with the diet, but had to comment on the diet coke. It makes me laugh too, what's the point in having a diet coke when you're about to consume a bagillion calouries eating all that disgusting fatty fried junk.
if you were allergic you'd have a big reaction. you may be intolerant to some foods. the only thing you can do is be tested, or keep a diary to see if anything makes you feel bloated/unwell etc.
I find if I am allergic to a particular kind of food (and I am to loads) I generally know all about it. You can then operate an exculsion type diet to identify the culprit (if it's not obvious).
bimbo, thats just the problem, they do, endless medical advice, eat ham, don't eat ham, have a glass of red, good for the heart, if you are 65 stop drinking. Wish they would make their minds up, and there are plenty of things you might be allergic to, say for example bread, you could find that certain additives in bread, especially white, that makes you bloated, but you might not know thats whats causing it.
I have a general rule of avoiding processed food and junk food, I stick to natural products and I eat fruit as snacks. It has done wonders for my health
