Winning the lottery, tight or flash?

Just been thinking about the life changing pot in the Euromillions jackpot on Tuesday. In general, if you win millions, how would you strike a balance amongst your family and friends, between appearing tight fisted and being flash? For example, if you went out for the night with a group of friends and you kept offering to pay for everything you will be accused of showing off and being flash, but if you didnt, others would accuse you of being tight. So how do you get it right.

If your friends think your showing off and being "flash" they dont have to accept. You just need to strike a balance, maybe everybody pays their round but you throw in a few chasers or a couple of bottles of something special.

I think it depends on whether you're a flash personality...if you quietly said, 'everything's on me tonight, have a good time' I don't see that as being flash.

Depends where the bar is, I would take a plane load of people to Cancun for a fortnight 6* All Inclusive, they couldn't argue about who pays for a round then, if you plan to win the lottery dave you have to think big.

The concept of 'Money's no object' is alien to most of us and it would take alot of adjustment of thought and changing our attitude and priorities, it would take me at least 24 hours, so make a plan just in case.

neither, party for family, if its millions, then share some out, all equal, so no moaning who got more, or less, then take that much needed holiday, off around the world, doesn't have to be flash, no cruise, nor 5 star luxury, just a trip of a lifetime, wouldn't care if it was back packing, as long as had enough to rest up in a decent enough gaff once in a while. Then home, buy the house i have always wanted, open an animal sanctuary, not big, just to help the little creatures, then sit back, open fire place in winter, and look out over green fields, drink in hand.
