Shes had a period for at least 10 days (aged 29) big clots aswell, she said today she feels like shes going to faint a few times and sore and lethargic? Says she feels really strange!?

Told her to get the feet up but god knows what it can be? Not normal though!!! X

No, that doesn't so ind normal to me either.

She needs to see her GP on Monday as the fainting may well be due to an anaemia secondary to her heavy periods.

What could the heavy periods be due to......?............Fibroids or Endometriosis come to mind.

Have a word with your GP. Or call the Out-of-Hours. I think a word with a professional wouldn't go amiss. Too much blood loss can be really dangerous.

I agree, phone out of hours DR and see what he says, it never hurts to be over cautious.

It's a long time to be having having a heavy period - if she rings her doc (or you do it for her) the out of hours number should be on their answerphone message.

I cannot understand why she has not whizzed down to the doctor's as fast as she can. Losing blood like that cannot be good especially as it is clots. Weekend again - so the out of hours doctor would be the best bet. No wonder she is fainting!

I asked her if she thought miscarriage but she said no! Shes on her break of pill and its jusy coming and coming! Horrible to say but she said she jusy stood in shower for a while and let it come... :0/ so i told her get to docs pronto but shes moving house tomorrow so prob wont!! X
