I knew it was a mistake ... stopping at The Scottish Restaurant.

I had a Big Mac.

On the box, it says ... "What Makes Your Big Mac So Unique?"

"So" unique ???

Are there degrees of uniqueness in the world of McDonalds?

Maybe the question should be ...

"What Makes The McDonald's Marketing Department So Grammatically Inept?"

You don't get that sort of think at Burger King !!

LOL nox ... that's a fair kop !
ha ha, on the beeb, home of good grammar (not!) I have heard "quite unique" and "somewhat unique"
Is Big Mag a guy then JJ? : ) lol

Was it large?
Question Author
Albags ...

"Going large" is just completely greedy, slobby, gannety, and

... err ...

... yes, okay, it was large.

Well, I was really hungry.
Almost exactly is quite acceptable in my book. It suggests that but for a slight variation one thing is exactly like another.
I would have got mad to, or even gotten mad.
The only funny thing I ever read was that in USA on death row, where they can ask for any last meal, they often ask for a big mac. They told McDonalds who thought of advertising Big Mac - A meal to die for - but decided not....

"Quite" is an interesting one, isn't it.

"Quite" is commonly used to refer to an absolute, or an extreme. As in ...

"She is quite the most beastly person I've ever met."

Was it the "bestest" burger that you have ever had?
Question Author
"A Meal To Die For" ... LOL, LOL, LOL

I can just imagine them being torn between ...

... brilliant line, but ...

... slightly bad taste.
Question Author
"the "bestest" burger" ?

A McDonald's ?

With the soggy luttuce, and the sloppy, flavourless sauce?

And the bland meat?

No. The best burgers are from Burger King.
im always hungry after 20 minutes if i call in at a mcdonalds whilst im travelling around...i much prefer k.f.c

Bestest - bestest, or worsest, publicitist for this expression was/is the Duchess of Pork. Perhaps she is sponsored by MaccieDs or BurgySting
I've got a big mac but the sleeves are too long.Ron.
It would be sooo much worse if they had said "obviously, your Big Mac is so unique...."
I am always tempted by Burger Kings great picture in their adverts and their Flame Grilled Scottish long horned Bison or whatever it is. We have ventured into Burger king and always come out very disappointed and vowing never ever to go to one again.

Give me a a large Big Mac Meal anytime!!

I suppose its what you get used to at the end of the day, its a bit like Starbucks coffee, It always tastes burnt to me, wouldn't give you tuppence for it.
"Every Big Mac is unique as we gob in it."
