Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Good morning all - a bit on the nippy side here today, hope it turns out better wherever you are.

Kate presented her usual challenge for us - what to keep and which one to change and then threw in a really curly one for us !! we had -

Iron Lung
Earl Grey
Emerald Green
Earth Work [!!]

and Special Mention has to be TEARINGHAIR for sticking to her guns and going with Iron Lung - persistence pays off, eventually !!

Earl Grey and Emerald Green were both very popular choices but Earth Work's points went begging, not surprisingly.

Very Well Done to all the points scorers !!!

Next week is the last for this contest so thinking caps on for the last round - we'll reconvene same time, same place on Saturday, have a good week and I'll see you then skz

Nul pointe for me again - on either comp. BTW, I think Earth Work becomes closer to the definition (a well known word or phrase) if written as Earthwork, as in Offa's Dyke, etc.

Hooray I've scored a point with Earl Grey. Thought Emerald Green was too obvious. Lesson to be learnt - stick with the obvious. Well done everyone who scored points and commiserations to those who didn't.
