is it just me or is there anyone else out there who just does not get the 'phenomenon' about Kylie Minogue drummed up by the media (especially Radio 1). Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her because shes always pleasant on tv etc but why the big thing just because she sticks her bum out a lot? Surely not the best singing voice in the world? Sorry Kylie fans, I just dont get it!

I think she's ghastly from all bases - her voice is awful, her songs are awful, she's got no a**** at all ... and I bloody hate gay "icons"/divas etc.

I too think she's absolutely divine - sexy yet not tarty, outgoing but not brash, intelligent but not up herself.

 but i have no real interest in her music (though, as throwaway pop songs go, she's done some good ones). she's got star quality - the "x factor" - so called because you can't describe what it is, but you know when someone has it.

You are not alone sweggie. I can't stand the girl! She is tarty (although does appear very friendly) and I don't get the whole electronica phase she seems to be going through, they could get anybody to do that stuff - I mean there is very little actual singing invlolved. I think we would all be better off if she retired quietly now while most people do consider her some sort of icon.

i dont mind her music(altho not to my taste) but i dont get why she is made out to be a sex symbol.

she is small & skinny with teeth too big for her mouth !
