I've got my outfit sorted now for the wedding I've been invited to. The only thing is,I need a fairly high heeled shoe to stop me looking like a very small person in a big hat!! (Bit like a mushroom).

I broke my left ankle (tib & fib) back in 1994 and was in plaster for 6 months so I haven't really worn high heels since.

Does anyone know of a shop/site or brand that would help and would wedges be better than points?

May I as a mere male suggest that a smaller hat and lower shoes might be less risky?

Or am I missing the point?
Hi chrissa,
don't risk your health for a 'day' Wedges would distribute the weight more evenly across the foot. If you wear heels don't go above 2 "
Meer male ... she's got her outfit! You're asking a lady to change her outfit after meticulously planning the whole thing? :0) Just go for a lower shoe chrissa x
SeaJayPea, Are you that fond of hospital food.

You lot make me laugh!!!! The shoes have to be "nude" in colour, c'mon guys there must be somewhere to buy a reasonably safe high heel. Not a point but a rectangle if you see what I mean.
Yikes!...there is even a website for them...lol

I'm sure there will be something on there. I've seen 2 possibles after just a quick look. Thank you.
That's the beauty of anonimity, Ron.
Wedges would be best :) you can get very nice wedges from high street stores at this time of the year, Topshop, H&M, Next and Dorothy Perkins to name a few. Try their websites as you get much more choice.
Good Luck :)

Those look lovely Chrissa and you could pack a pair of pretty ballet pumps for the evening when you are either sat or having a boogie.
Well at least they have a bar across that will be safer chrissa . What height heel mrs? ;0)
They look good Chrissa and I like the idea of taking some ballet pumps for the evening. Everyone's entitled to kick off their shoes once the dancing begins.

Enjoy....

Thanks mamya. It's the first "do" I'll have been to by myself but I'm guessing I'll be seated with some old friends and not strangers.

They are 3.5 inches Quassia.
