whats your opinions on this new doll? , alot have been slating it but i think its brilliant, my daughter sees her cousin being breastfed all the time and she mimics it with her dolls now.

Hi Bednobs - I know it is not sexual (have breast fed all of mine), but don't like dolls that do stuff (poohing, crying, eating, etc) - I think dolls that do stuff are kind of taking the fun out of playing with dolls, you have to start doing stuff for your doll rather than the doll doing what you want it to do. But I still want to know what the doll 'feeds' from?

yes breats are used for feeding and produce milk when pregnant. Sex is used to make babys, also a natural thing but I wouldnt want kids to start buying sex dolls. I dont have anything against breast feeding but I personally dont like the doll.

Don't you find that a bit odd - it's natural to breast feed but then the doll feeds from flowers? Obviously they are not going to put plastic breasts on an apron (though who knows what the maufacturers were thinking). So it's a breast feeding doll that feeds on flowers? I think it is sending out mixed messages - oh look at us, we've made a breast feeding doll, oh, but hang on, that's not going to work so it feeds on flowers'. Should have just left well alone.

I think putting on the bra thing is a bit unnecessary - as if you wear certain clothing to breast feed. the doll doesn't look any different from any other doll.

I'm with Mrs C. I'm not entirely sure why, but watching that made me very uncomfortable. No way would I buy that doll for my 6 year old. Not that she likes dolls anyway, she loves her Dr Who, Ben 10 and Transformers- she's a nerd ;-)
