there is no nicer sound to me than the sound of children s laughter at play, they grow up all too soon, the neighbour who reported young Alfie wants fined for being a miserable git imo

A lot of parents (and other people too I guess) need to realise that we do have to consider other people we live around, including our neighbours.
As you know i've a 6 year old, and, weather permitting, I won't let her play out before 10am in the morning, and i curtail her noise level if it gets too high. Yes it's difficult to do, and yes i do sometimes feel mean, but I'm fully aware that I have neighbours and they might not appreciate my little darlings yells and screams.

LOL! Do you live in heaven bobbisix? All the kids around my way are chavvy little brats and make noise from dusk to dawn, right now as I'm typing this the next doors kid has been repeatedly banging a pipe for the last 45 minutes whilst the mother is probably smoking weed as she usually does and the father is ko'ed from alcohol! Not all kids are heavenly cherubs that talk in soprano!

I'm with B00; we brought up jno jnr to remember that other people have rights too. I suspect some people just to do what they like and if anyone objects they'll phone up the Mail. What are the chances that in 10 years if a teacher tries to discipline Alfie his parents will be kicking down the school door to threaten the teacher?
(Obviously, I don't know if that will happen, I'm just inventing another Mail story from 2021.)

"Paula this lad can hardly be labelled as a 'chavvy brat', he's 4 yrs old" Yes he can, kids are the direct product of their parents in most cases, I've seen 4 year olds swearing , fighting their parents and picking up weapons against others, if you've never seen this happen peronally then try to watch a program called "Supernanny" and you'll see that not all 4 yr olds are well behaved!
Ummm, you're right, there;'s too many parents that are afraid to smack and discipline their kids or are just too lazy and the end result is a horrible spolit child which you resent. My parent s were never afraid to break out the belt or slipper and I can honestly say that I'm happy with the way I turned out compared to my friends that were never smacked and now bully their parents.
Ummm thats rubbish and you know it, in this country and most places in the west the children rule the streets and have no respect for their society or elders and this is a direct result of discipline or lack of, go to south america, india, africa etc... where discipline is the order of the day and you'll see the difference between our society and unruly kids and theirs.
