Yes, bought it two years ago (in Switzerland, of course) - it's been very useful.
I've had the same one for over thirty years - have it on my key ring - only thing wrong with it is a piece of the red side broke off when I dropped it on concrete.
Question Author
mines a bit to big for a key ring got lots of tools and a thing for gettin boy scouts out of horses hoves
Yup, got my grandad's - Victorinox, it's got me out of many a jam!
Ah but you never know when you may need to remove a boy scout from a horse's hoof so best be prepared - or shouldn't the boy scout have been prepared? whatever.....
Yes I have, bought it to help me at work. I'm too scared to use it though as it's as the blade is rather stiff to open . I'm scared I'll cut my fingers on it!
Im sure that a swiss army knife would have a tool for preparing Boy Scouts - couldnt eat whole one myself without butter though
I have one, had it for years, I dont know if it is original though, how would you tell an original from a cheap replica?
Hi, got my Victorinox 30 years ago in Interlaken, Switzerland and apart from a chip out of the big knife it's still in good condition. My fault it's chipped too as I was too lazy to get the screwdriver out and used the knife as one.

RATTER15, an original would be made by Victorinox.
Question Author
if you had it for years and its not bent rusty /tarnished chances are its a real one
theshedman, Victorinox AG or Wenger SA. make the original apparently.
Question Author
victorinox or wenger
I was given one so don't know which model. Hardly ever gets used and is really too big to carry around. I have lost the little plastic toothpick as well.
On the Victorinox one the name is written on the main blade near the base.
Question Author
google wenger giant --£500 a bit daft
I have only ever used the corkscrew on mine. Had it about 10 years.
Mine is a Victorinox make and is 5 items wide plus corkscrew , button hook? and reamer? on the back plus tweezers and toothpick on the sides.
