3 Answers
i today recieved a letter to say i had to attend hospital ref blood in urine, phoned hospital today but receptionist just said i was referred to doctor blah blah blah because of test that my own doc took stating blood in urine, i have had hepititus b, though i seen hepatologist specialist 3 weeks ago and he reckons im over the acute stage and showing good signs of recovering and my body clearing the hep b virus. i know a lot of you arent doctors but i would like to know what is a bladder scope and have any of you have had it and for what ? dont worry about writing to me telling me ( you had it because of cancer etc) i will not be alarmed by your replies. i am a binge drinker too and maybe this has something to do with it, lately i have been having a slight twinge / pain in my testes ? tried to call my doc today but he only takes calls in morning and dont want to bother him i hate running to docs as i know he is very busy.

I had bladder cancer in1977 and again in2000 but have been clear since I have bladder scope periodically to check and am still clear. The procedure is a little uncomfortable ( not painful) and is usually over in 1 - 2 minutes. But do get it done.
