Recently when going out into my garden every day I have found piles of soil (looks like coiled worms) pushed up between my paving stones. Does anyone know what is causing this and whether I should be concerned, I am going to have no soil left between them soon if this carries on! :)

probably some of these

wormcast noun a coiled heap of sand or earth excreted by a burrowing earthworm or lugworm.
If you collect it it will make excellent seed compost, but of course you`ll need a lot of it. It is only worms poo.
