For the last 10 weeks I have been suffering what my doctor describes as a swollen nerve in my shoulder. It causes spasmodic tingling and buzzing from my elbow into my fingers. My index and second finger constantly feel 'fizzy'. Have tried physio, swimming and massages to no avail. Has anyone here experienced this and is there a cure?

It was mostly about relaxation techniques and stretching the joints. You could do no harm by talking to your friend im sure, just take things very easily at first. Do not do a class session, to get over an injury you need to have all your movements closely monitored.

i suffered with pain and gradual loss of use in my left arm, two doctors sent me for a lot of tests but could not find a solution,i tried another doctor and as soon as i walked into his surgery , he said you have parkinsons, three years wasted
Yes a brilliant cure, I had the same problem for 18 months and visited a physio every week at £35.00 a throw.

I then to a specialist injury yoga teacher that gave me private tuition for six weeks, problem gone. unbelievable!! :-)

Ratter I have also exhausted my finances with physio. What did the yoga person do? One of my good friends teaches yoga, should I talk to her? Thank you for your answer x

This could be do to quite a number of conditions, none of which are life threatening. Your description needs amplifying, as to when do they come on, how long do they last and which finger is your 2nd finger (index or ring)?
How old are you, are you on any medications and what is your job?

The "cure" will depend upon the cause, which without the questions above being answered, is not apparent.
