We had planned to have a curry tonight but himself ate so many sandwiches at our daughter's birthday party that he is not hungry (I held back, to make sure I had room for a curry). I, on the other hand, am starving hungry and there is nothing here to eat (would have something like cheese on toast but the grill doesn't work).

Order yourself something to be delivered and use his wallet to pay :o)
Hope the party was fab sher!...just order in a curry for you love!.........you deserve it!......

Hi both - we have to collect as no-one delivers out here! I don't even have a frozen pizza to chuck in the oven (although that would be a poor substitue).

Welsh - how's the weather in your neck of the woods? We are planning on going to Southerndown tomorrow (and having a curry on the way home!).
Question Author
Sorry Welsh - the party was great, the dj took all the stress out of it by doing all the games, etc.
If you have a toastie machine, make a bacon and cheese one.

Otherwise, hit his pocket for a home delivery :)

Hope everyone had a blast at the party x
Were three loaves enough Sherrardk?
Question Author
Went for two loaves in the end (ran out of disposalable foil platter things) - and they were more than enough. Party was great but hot!
go and collect your curry, and tell OH hes not getting any.
The weather's lush sher!........Really hot, definately beach weather, Porthcawl was absolutely crammed with folk today, and the forecast is the same for tomorrow!........hope you enjoy!........x
guess if you're really hungry and have cheese and bread you could always make a sandwich. Do you have any chutney to make it a bit tastier?
Question Author
Hi Anne - can't drive as I have had a drink (there was a birthday party today so I deserve a drink).

Hi Welsh - excellent, wet suits, buckets and spades, and the min-surfboard thing are in the car ready to go.
Oh sher, sorry, meant to say that I'm pleased that the party went down well, sure it was hot, but as long as the little ones enjoyed!......
Question Author
Right, going to do a fridge and cupboard raid (don't hold out much hope for the fridge as I had emptied it out to keep the party food in).
sher, tell us what you have in fridge/larder and we will suggest something tasty .
great sher!........You'll have a fab day down there!.......
Question Author
Anne, I have skinny turkey, tomatoes, cheese, fromage frais and chocolate (it's mostly for our picnic tomorrow and Monday's packed lunches). I could have a toasted turkey and tomato sandwich but it's hardly a curry.
Question Author
Sorry Twirls, I don't like chutney (or cheese sandwiches really - I find them a bit cloying).
Oh sher, I know!........when you're expecting a curry, nothing else will do!...shame you don't have a delivery service!......maybe go with the toasted sandwich, and look forward to the curry tomorrow night!........
sher, you have chocolate, what more does a girl need ? :)
