Not sure this is the right area to ask this but -
A friend has had a pacemaker fitted. It just came up in conversation if she should run for a bus and her heart rate increase because of the need to increase how would her pacemaker react?

No big deal......if it is a modern pacemaker then it will adjust to react to the increase of heart rate and physical activity.
