What's up with WOT.?

I have up-dated FireFox to FF 7.1 and have successfully re-established all my 'Add-Ons'.(Dictionary; Flagfox; Adblock and WOT.) However, the Web of Trust 'traffic lights' no longer appear alongside listed sites within an Internet page. Consequently I now have to click open a site and then observe the colour of the WOT icon in the 'Add-On' bar at the top of the screen, whereas it was a simple matter of looking at a full page of sites and deciding from there which were the sites to possibly be trusted.

Could this have anything to do with the fact that 'MyStart' appears to have invaded my computer; which is an HP Pavilion Slimline and operates on Windows Vista Home Basics.?

MyStart? What does that do (or is supposed to do?)

Open Firefox .. Tools .. Add-ons .. go down the list of extensions to WOT .. click on the 'more' if available .. and hit the homepage link. Have a read through there to see what can be done ..
Or join Mozilla and post a message in the addon developer page .. That's what I have done on odd occasion.

Alternatively .. go to their forum here .. http://www.mywot.com/en/forum
and have a look through. They may also have a new version available but not approved by Mozilla yet that fixes the issue. I see your last WOT update was July-ish.

Hi Al.......It appears from my search of the Internet that MyStart is a 'portal'. That means nothing to me but appears that there are other folk who have been 'invaded' by it and some even consider it to be something of a virus. However, I am confident that there are not any bugs in my comp. because a run-through with Malwarebytes and MSE has given me a clean reading. Anyway, how come you are able to say that my last WOT up-date was July-ish when for the last few days I have been trying to resolve matters; even to the extent of clearing WOT from my comp and doing re-loads of the most up-dated version from FireFox.?

I'm smiling, and hope you are because I am still able to post on AB; which is important to me.☺☺☺
