There's this creepy thing on here that if you look something up online, shortly afterwards you get adverts tailored to your searches.

It used to creep me out, but now it just seems normal.

Some of us (unfortunately, as pointed out by Spireman) need the services of Bravissimo and the like.

But it does seem that adverts pop up suddenly after one has been looking at something online that relates even vaguely to the advert. But although I get ads in English and German (both understandable) I can't quite understand where the French ones come from.

Amazing - all I have done is read this thread (well who wouldn't ;)) and now all my adverts for double glazing and financial services have disappeared and been replaced by a huge (smirk) Bravissimo pictorial splash.

Result !!
