So the protesters have been told to leave by 6pm tonight or a legal bid to remove them would be lodged at the High Court if they ignore the request to go.
What kind of threat is that, it is obvious that they will just ignore the council, and if months down the line they loose their case will the courts fine them and also make them pay the costs?
I don't think so somehow, Just like the travellers, they will move on and then return.

if the police or the council are intent on removing the protesters, they should do what the American police did, take the tents when they were unoccupied over night. Those protesters have a right to go back to that park, but not with their tents and sundry equipment. Can see this being another debacle though
