hmm just checked my liquid stuff for kids. Its says 7yrs+ 2 x 5ml which at 100mg per 5ml is 200mg,

so i would think yes if it were me.

Children over the age of 12 are usually considered to be 'adult' in medicine and the adult dosage generally applies unless they are considerably underweight. The adult dose for Ibuprofen is not to exceed 2 x 200mg four times a day. Your son of 11 should be quite safe taking 1 x 200mg provided that you've read the accompanying leaflet and established that there are no reasons why he shouldn't take it.
