Looking into other people eyes
26 Answers
Do you find this uncomfortable if you do this for more than a few seconds? I find i can only do this to collegues for a certain amount of time till i glance away then look again how odd. Though i can do this with partners for an age. Is this to do with your relationship with that person do you think?

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I can never keep eye contact for more than a few seconds, but I'm never sure where else to look. I don't want to appear uninterested or shifty but I don't want to overdo it either. That might make me look weird. I'm shy and definitely self conscious which is probably the main reason, but at least I'm not alone :-)
I find it difficult to look into peoples eyes, although i do kinda look at them. i usually label people who look straight into my eyes as a bit intense, or in the case of certain men i fancy them coz it feels like they're really listening to you, of the two men who I've rather liked, partly due to this reason, that i can remember, one was really lovely and the other was a sociopath. so there you go!
