christmas gift for terminally ill lady who can't eat

help, what can i get for my nan who has oesophageal cancer and can't eat? I would normally buy her a calendar, or a plant to grow but i cant do that this year!

What about a nice flowering indoor plant if she (or someone) can keep it watered.
Does she listen to music or talking books?

Is she feeling the cold? I bought one of those very short dressing gowns (cardigown?) last xmas for a neighbour who's ill.

i would buy a lovely handcream or moisturiser, or prepare beautiful old family pics in an album or tin, refreshing small bottles of soft drink or cordials, story tapes/CDs and player ...

plus mags you can read stories from and silly quizzes you can play together!

and lots of visits and company!
