It isn't that straight forward really, that's why you should go to a hairdressers. This process slowly strips out the brown, and will take you lighter, but then on top of this you will need to have your hair lightened again if you aren't happy with the colour left. If I were you, rather than try and take it all back to blonde, have highlights put through which will save further damage to your hair and will look much better, as your natural colour comes through eventually it will all catch up, with perhaps a few more visits to the hairdressers inbetween.
