In the summer there were two similar threads on here with disturbing reports about older customers who had been wrongly accused of theft in supermarkets and beaten up or imprisoned by store staff

In one case a 50 year old man was assaulted by supermarket staff and accused of theft http://www.theanswerb...uestion1062963-2.html


In the other, a 75ish year old was locked in a supermarket for 2 hours accused of stealing pet food until it was found he/she had a receipt

Both cases were disturbing but there were some unanswered issues on the threads. Unfortunately we never heard the outcome of these cases, so I was hoping the original posters would see this and could be give us an update if possible, please.
