I bought a camera on ebay sold as refurbished. It came with 2 batteries which didn't seem to work, even after charging them. I thought they may be faulty batteries so I bought another, to see, and that didn't work either. The camera comes on but it shows the flashing red battery sign, as though its about to run out and says internal memory is full. Even after charging all night.

This is obviously a fault with the camera. Does anyone know what it could be?

Have you tried to delete pictures on the internal memory,may not be the solution but worth a try.

There are no pictures on the camera. Thats what I can't understand.

I would never buy a refurbished electronic product on eBay. Modern electronic equipment is so complex if somethng fails it may be impossible to be sure the fault was not due to another component causing stress on the one that failed and was replaced.

Do you have the right to return it? Is so dend it back. If not you have learnt a lesson.
