Yes it was her own placenta - she thought it would help her produce more breast milk.

Think it was whizzed up with bananas lol

Oh good - next thing is a woman with 2 vaginas lol. So glad I am not stuck in bed ill too often!!
O Yuk and Yuk again - do we need this on daytime TV - more suited to Channel 4 late night.
i remember hughfw onone of his early shows where he went to peoples houses to join in with parties/celebrations and they had made a pate out of the placenta then served it at the dinner party
When I did my mattie training we had a couple of women who asked to take theirs home... you've just given birth and you want a doggy bag puh-leeeeeze
I hate bananas with a vengeance - they are awful evil nasty things and the thought of them whisked up with placenta have made this thread even more disgusting!!
Hehe, remember the placenta pate one. The name kinda rolls of the tongue doesn't it? Which is probably more than can be said for the pate.
I think I'm gonna barf !
I just wish this hadn't popped up in Latest Posts so close to dinner time!

Well I know what I'll be thinking about when I have my usual smoothie for breakfast tomorrow morning! :-(
Note to self: avoid bloody marys for a while.
animals indulge in placentophagy for necessary nuritional reasons. there ois no known benefit to human placentophagy and would not add anything of nutritional value via human consumption.

dried human placenta is a chinese herbal remedy. which says it all really.

now if she'd have whizzed up a bogie smoothie, thats summink different, mmm-mmm.
