Osteoartritius
9 Answers
I suffer from osteo arthritus, to the point where I can't even spell it. My GP has told that there's no real help and it's a case of putting up with it, I've tried AXSAIN cream with no easing at all.
Any suggestions, other than amputation, would be gratefully recieved

Cider Vinegar (in liquid or tablet form) is good for arthritis but can take time to start working. I use the tablets and my joints are as good and supple as they were thirty years ago.
Serrapeptase is also recommended for pain and inflammation of all kinds (according to web sites).
Suggest you Google for both of the above, read all things available and then...

I have cocodamol for the pain, which I try not to take until I am desperate. I also have acupuncture once a fortnight, which I have to pay for myself (not on the NHS). I find this helps me quite a lot, but I don't know whether it works for everybody. It is quite expensive - my acupuncturist charges £35 a session, so not for everybody. I think some doctors prescribe it, but mine do not. You could ask about it as whatever you can do to alleviate the pain must be good.
