I know how daft that sounds!
A woman i work with gets, what she calls' veins point's just under her skin. Usually on her fingers but sometimes other places too.i have never heard of this before but she find s
that hard to believe cus she says everyone gets them. Yesterday, another lady i work with with got one. It certainly looked very painfuland you could see like a blood blister under the skin on her finger. She said i must have had one but i swear i haven't! Does anyone on here get them?
Sorry about rubbish typing- I'm using my mobile in bed.

No......mine don't.....however it is a well recognized medical condition, poorly understood, but thought to be due to weakness in the wall of the blood vessel walls.
Associated with Raynaud's disease.........so they say ??
Treatment?......no idea.........Vitamin C in large doses seems to be in vogue.

yes I get them and answered on the other thread. I have had them all my adult life in hands and feet and they got worse with menopause. When I went to see idiot GP about them in the height of hot summer, he said he had never seen anything like it and suggested chilblains. anyway I did my own internet research and found calmagzinc tablets suggested, so i tried those and they seem to have worked. I don't take them continuously but if i get on burst then i take a course., normally i will get two to 6 or 7 in sequence but the calmagzinc seems to stop it at one.
I get them quite often - always thought it was a vein bursting in my fingers. First there is a stinging sensation and then pain and a large bruise emerges with a bit of swelling. I count my lucky stars it is not in my head or somewhere else which would be horrendous. Fingers and toes I can cope with. Doesn't seem to be anything specific that triggers it. Old age in my case, perhaps.
