nose and ears?

My nose is really blocked but its a not a cold becuse whenever i go to blow my nose nothing comes out at all. And normally i can hardly breather through my left nostril. Its also affecting my ears aswell, they pop whenever i try and blow my nose and everything becomes really loud and clear but then they pop again and all of a sudden everything goes quiet again :s

Anyone know what i can do to clear my ears and my nose?
Btw ive tried waitin it out but its been goin since before xmas

Go and see your GP - he will probably prescribe a decongestant nose spray, or ask your local pharmacist.

You could try inhaling steam for about 10 mins a couple of times a day. Also something like Sudafed might help.

Sudafed can make some people a bit light-headed, dizzy. I would ask your pharmacist - he/she will be able to ask you things to find out more.

I'm unsure a nose has to run when you have a cold. You certainly have congestion at any rate. Not an allergy is it ? If it has been going on that long I'd suspect it may well be. Try to find the cause and clear it out of your way.

I agree with smart 1 it could be anything. Decongestant spray from the pharmacist is your first port of call which may well solve your........if it doesnt, then see your GP.
