Do you find you need to go to the toilet more frequently? ......

...there is a TV ad running at the moment asking this question. Well, the truth is, yes. This has been happening to me at night time for about a year (long before I saw the ad) and I really didn't know what to make of it. If I had been a bloke, I could have blamed the prostate! But now I'm a bit reluctan to see my GP about it because he may just think it's probably because I have seen the advert. I can go to the loo before I go to bed, watch TV for about 15 mins, fall asleep and half an hour later I wake up needing the loo again! Go back to sleep, and an hour later, I am up again to the loo. And I have seriously cut down on fluids. I don't have any fluids for at least 6 hrs before going to bed. Anyone else a sufferer?

And as I say, I have been suffering for at least 12 mths, which would discount the 'cold weather' idea. I just don't want GP to think I'm jumping on some sort of medical 'bandwagon'. because I'm pretty sure the GP visits nationwide will have increased for this problem nationwide since the advert started it's run.

also we are not losing so much in sweat so have some fluid to get rid of there
more likely we will be drinking more tea/coffee to keep warm which has caffeine (dieretic) so more input of a stimulant to higher output
