Anyone any thoughts on a really good 2 in 1 shampoo?
Need something for the boys as they have longish hair and swim a lot - being boys they wont faff about with shampoo and conditioner so it needs to be a 2in1. Don't want to pay a fortune as they use tons of it, can't have anything that looks girly or babyish but want something effective - youngest doesn't like the smell of coconut (!!).
any particular one DT? there always seems to be loads of pantene stuff. My personal solution would be to get the clippers out and give them a number 2 but that idea is not going down well.
Hmmmm - if they are all the same then that's pretty rubbish - their hair is completely tangled after using it, but when they wash at home with separates - then it is lovely and silky.
I use 2in1 on my travels (saves taking two bottles). I tried the Aussie one recently. I used it once and threw the whole bottle away. It made my hair like wire. There aren`t a lot of 2in1 shampoos around so I went back to Dove. It`s as good as any.
Haven't tried the dove one 237SJ - It's mainly the kids ones and sainsburys one and wash n go and I think a head and shoulders one that we've tried so far. I am sure the right one is out there!!
I've used 'Wash & Go 2 in 1' for years. £1 in ASDA / Wilkinsons, in a green bottle, and found it pretty good, used daily. Just looked at the bottle and found it is made by Procter & Gamble. It comes under various designations, but I'm sure that there is a 'Sport' label, so it won't look too girlish!
Think Chris might be wrong on this one as I was once told by a hairdresser that when buying shampoo/conditioner, the more expensive ones are the best like Charles Worthington and those other famous ones.
Have never used them myself as I can't afford them but I do try to go middle of the road price lk Pantene and Tresseme.
thanks twix - we have tried that one and wasn't that impressed - but then, they don't use it every day so maybe that is the issue. missp - something I read said that the shampoo didn't matter so much but you get what you pay for in conditioner usually - I really don't want to go too high as they invariably lose them or use them such that half it goes down the plug hole!
