I must say that i agree with 80% of that article.

Earlobes......kidney function.....YES...Google "Gouty tophi" seen in chronic gout which may be an indication of impaired kidney function.

It is a pity that medical students are not taught the "art " of medical diagnosis as this has been replaced by medical technology.
