Update for Sqad
2 Answers
Hi, bit of an update and some better news :) Had my repeat dip test and it came up ok on the strip thing which is good! They sent it off to the lab and did bloods - blood count, liver, kidneys and hemo somethings (?) so hopefully they will be ok too. Still don't feel great but at least some better rest results.
Saw an anaesthetist yesterday and all cleared for my gallbladder removal so counting down until a week Friday :) Was worried my referral to immunology about a possible reaction to amoxicillin (esp as Septrin turns me pink) might have caused more questions but I've come up with the reddish rash over my cheeks and nose again and been nowhere near antibiotics so he's not concerned thank goodness. I wonder if it's just some general reaction to feeling crap or having an infection or something.
Also googled Sjorens as you suggested on my post the other day. Looks like a possible with other autoimmune stuff. Mentioned it to my GP when speaking about other test result stuff and she said to wait until my next rhumo appointment as best for them to deal with anything like that.
So things hopefully seem to be getting sorted :) Thanks again for all your help and advice.

Rang up this morning for the test results, urine and u&e's ok (said kidneys a bit down on the last test but ok now). Were awaiting folate, b12 etc...
Then a bit later my GP rang me back to say another result had been flagged and it showed my lymphocytes up suggesting infection, potentially glandular fever. I don't have a sore throat, feel rubbish though that's not unusual. Been called in for bloods tomorrow to check for glandular fever etc...
Strangely enough she mentioned glandular fever a while ago when I was asking about the red rash I've been having come up on my nose and cheeks as she said it can be a sign of it!
Just praying it's nothing that will affect my op!
And it was all going so well...arghhhhhhh!
