It could be something as simple as a urinary tract infection (which a course of antibiotics can deal with) or it could be a symptom of something more serious, such as type 2 diabetes or pancreatic cancer.
DON'T start panicking (it's probably nothing to worry about) but DO get it checked out (just in case).

Do you have any other symptoms, such as burning sensation when urinating or cloudy, foul smelling urine? I'm 58, have type 2 diabetes and have suffered from recurring Urinary Tract Infections since 2009. Don't wish to worry you but the first time, it turned out to be kidney stones. As Howard has already said, you need to get yourself to your GP, he'll have a sample of your urine checked for any infection and which, with any luck, will be cleared with a course of antibiotics. Hope you get well soon.
When I first posted I couldn't remember the address of the website which is widely advertised on London tube trains. I've now found it:

The fact that you are urinating 12-15 times a day must point to a small amount of urine each time. The obvious solution would make you think to drink less water.
However the best solution is to greatly increase your fluid intake and this will not only flush out kidneys but wash out any annoying chemical in your bladder or penis.

Will just say I've had this on and off since about my 20s, had a few tests, never anything found, and it pretty well left on its own after about 30 years with intermittent problems. Irritable bladder has no known medical cause or treatment and stress and anxiety do make it worse although not the initial cause. If you find it happens less when you're calm and had a good day that's a clue. But although I get the odd day like that it's no longer regular as it used to be.
I'm 19!! So I'm not majorly old! And I've been to the gp she just took a sample and sent it off. She said it wasn't normal but it's just generally annoying, I drive to Chester need the toilet again I drive t Warrington and need the toilet again as these aren't far away!! It's like once an hour, she has sent me for bloods too,I will get back t you guys with an answer ASAP :) hopefully not a bad answer either!!
