energy drink smell

what is it that makes energy drinks have that funny smell? they all seem to have it no matter what make they are....it smells a bit like those fizzy refresher sweets ...it really stinks i dont know how anyone can drink them....

I can't abide that smell either. If my oh brings one home I can't be in the same room when he drinks it.

Which particular energy drinks? They don't all smell the same - Red Bull always reminds me of a diabetic's urine on a bad day.

I am not sure what you mean. I usually have a bottle of 'Red Rooster' somewhere in the house and I don't think it smells bad. It certainly doesn't smell the same as Lucozade.

Know what you mean; they stink! Will soon be sharing my boyfriends car and have told him he's not to leave empty energy drink cans in there anymore!

im not sure which particular ones rojash it seems to be all of them.... my son drinks different ones that all smell the same and ive smelt them on buses (thats really bad) ive been able to smell them and glanced round and seen no one drinking then someone has come downstairs with one thats how much i can smell it......

do you think lucozade smells bad howard? ive never noticed with that...gonna go have a bottle and see lol
